Matteo Guendouzi has already delivered his verdict on PSG amid Julian Draxler swap deal link

Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is once again being linked with a return to Paris Saint-Germain.

The France U21 international was somewhat of a revelation in his first season at the club following his move from Lorient in a deal worth around £7m in the summer of 2018.

Initially viewed as a player for the future, Guendouzi immediately became a regular in the starting XI under former head coach Unai Emery and was said to be attracting interest from PSG.

Just over a year ago, the Express claimed that the Ligue 1 giants were keeping tabs on their former youth product as they viewed him as a potential replacement for Adrien Rabiot who joined Juventus on a free transfer last summer.

Of course, Guendouzi ended up staying in north London, but his future has been called into question after being frozen out of the first-team picture under Mikel Arteta since June.

As well as being left out of the squad for the FA Cup final against Chelsea last month, reports have claimed that the 21-year-old has been used as a bargaining chip in a bid to sign Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey and Lyon’s Houssem Aouar.

Now PSG are also understood to be interested in the midfielder, and according to L’Equipe, the French champions are ready to include Julian Draxler in a move to sign the Gunners star.

In addition, the report claims Arsenal were initially hoping to receive £30million (€35million) for Guendouzi, however, they are now willing to lower their valuation and PSG are hoping that Draxler is tempted by a move to the Emirates.
