Mesut Ozil has named Santi Cazorla as the only ex-Arsenal player in his star-studded world XI.

The midfielder has enjoyed a decorated career, playing for Spanish giants Real Madrid and winning the World Cup with Germany in 2014.

Ozil has lined up alongside generational talents on the pitch, and been managed by some of the best coaches to have graced the modern era of the game such as Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger.

The 31-year-old moved to the Emirates in 2013 for £42.5 million, which at the time was a miraculous coup for the Gunners.

During his seven-year spell in north London, Ozil has played alongside the likes of Alexis Sanchez, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, winning the FA Cup three times so far.

But when asked in a Twitter Q&A session who would make his best XI, he only chose Cazorla from Arsenal.
