Gabriel and Mesut Ozil involved, wonderkid joins in – Three things spotted in Arsenal training

The countdown is on as Arsenal  prepare begin their 2020/21 Premier League campaign  against newly-promoted Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The Gunners make the short trip across the capital aiming to make the perfect start to the new Premier League season and build on last weekend’s FA Community Shield victory over Liverpool at Wembley.

But even though  Mikel Arteta  has successfully added another piece of silverware to the Gunners’ trophy cabinet, full focus is now on Saturday’s clash with Fulham and ensuring they can hit the ground running at the start of another action packed Premier League season.

And with pre-season having been much shorter this time around, Arsenal’s players having been putting the hard yards in on the training ground more than ever to ensure they are ready for the big kick-off.

After joining for a fee in the region of £27million at the beginning of the month, Gabriel  was Arsenal’s fourth signing of the summer following the additions of Cedric Soares, Pablo Mari and former Chelsea winger  Willian.

And the Brazilian defender was seen taking part in full training with his teammates ahead of the clash against Fulham.

It remains to be seen whether Mikel Arteta will hand the former Lille centre-back his debut at Craven Cottage, given his lack of pre-season minutes but it may not be long before supporters see the Brazilian in action.

The pictures showed Gabriel and fellow summer signing William Saliba taking part in a drill with a line of players undergoing sprints with a rope tied around their waists.
