David Raya ‘tells Brentford he wants Arsenal move’ but transfer being blocked

Brentford goalkeeper David Raya has reportedly told the Championship club he wants to join Arsenal as the Gunners continue to pursue him.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is facing a dilemma with his goalkeeping situation as Bernd Leno returns to fitness.

Back up stopper Emiliano Martinez has told Arteta that he is not content with another season as no. 2.

And the Daily Mail report that he would be available for £20m to the right buyer.

Arsenal are understood to be eyeing Brentford no. 1 David Raya as a replacement for Martinez.

But their pursuit is being made difficult by the Bees’ refusal to even open talks about his departure.
