Five players featured for their countries senior sides over the international break. Read on to find out how they fared:
Sead Kolasinac played 83 minutes as Bosnia and Herzegovina drew 1-1 with Italy in the Nations League on Friday. Edin Dzeko opened the scoring before Stefano Sensi levelled the scores after the hour mark.
Kieran Tierney was also in action for his country this weekend, playing as a left-sided centre back in Scotland’s 1-1 draw with Israel.
Granit Xhaka and Bernd Leno both featured as Switzerland drew 1-1 with Germany. Ilkay Gundogan scored after 14 minutes before right back Silvan Widmer equalised. The fixture was Xhaka’s second run out of the international break after the Swiss lost 2-1 against Ukraine on Tuesday.
Daniel Ballard played the full game Northern Ireland drew 1-1 against Romania on Friday. George Puscas opened the scoring before Gavin Whyte put Northern Ireland on level terms with four minutes to play.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Dejan Iliev were both unused substitutes for England and North Macedonia respectively.
