Alexandre Lacazette drops major hint about Arsenal future with reply to fan on Instagram post

Alexandre Lacazette has hinted that he will be staying at Arsenal amid ongoing speculation about his future at the club.

The Frenchman has been linked with several clubs in Europe this summer, including Juventus and Atletico Madrid, but remains at the Emirates.

He still managed 12 goals in 39 appearances for the Gunners in all competitions last term but had to settle for a place on the bench at times.

Mikel Arteta often decided to give his younger forwards a chance to impress, leaving Lacazette twiddling his thumbs.

The 29-year-old still has two years left on his contract at the club and it is believed that Arsenal would sell him if the right offer came in.

But the former Lyon has hinted that his immediate future could lie in north London through activity on his social media accounts.

One fan took to Instagram to urge the former Lyon man to remain with the Gunners, writing: “One word. STAY.”

Arteta has always insisted that Lacazette remains part of his plans and has made it clear that he wants to continue working with him.

“Why would I want to lose a player like him? I’m really happy with him,” he said recently.
