Arsenal ace Hector Bellerin has reportedly turned down a chance to join Bayer Leverkusen as the Bundesliga club can’t meet this wage demands.
Bellerin has been linked with a move away from the Emirates this summer with PSG and Juventus among those believed to be interested.
Leverkusen are believed to be eager to improve their right-back options, scouring the market for potential additions.
Fussball Transfers claim they got in touch with Bellerin, asking whether the Spaniard would be interested in a move.
Bellerin reportedly made it clear that he open to leaving Arsenal though rejected Leverkusen as they could not meet his salary wishes.
Gunners legend Charlie Nicholas believes his former club should sell Bellerin this summer, as long as it’s for the right fee.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Nicholas said: “I would contemplate and look at, people have been mentioning, somebody like Bellerin if the right money came.
“Now, Bellerin has been a star but since his bad injury he’s never really recovered fully.

“If we can get him fit again and get him going again, then I’m all for Bellerin staying here.”
Bellerin struggled with injury in 2019 but still has three years left on his contract.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta had said: “He’s had a lot of injuries in the past season that hasn’t allowed him to be very consistent, even in training or in the games that he’s played.
