Transfer news LIVE: Chelsea eye three more deals, Man Utd’s Sancho alternative

Rodrigo shirt number?

Leeds United have confirmed the signing of Rodrigo from Valencia though the forward may have received some early bad news with his regular shirt number unavailable.

Rodrigo will not be able to lay his hands on his favoured shirt number with the Spaniard having always worn the No 19 shirt.

Leeds midfielder Pablo Hernandez is the current No 19 under Marcelo Bielsa, but there are plenty of other options for Rodrigo.

The No 8 shirt has been free at Elland Road since Vurnon Anita last donned it in 2017/18 with 12 and 14 also available.

While Rodrigo favours No 19, the ones either side are up for grabs with 18 and 20 potential options for the Spaniard.

Robbie Fowler wore No 27 during his time at Leeds and Rodrigo could opt for that number while No 33, which the former Valencia star wore during his younger days at Real Madrid, is also available.
