Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been impressed with Willian’s mentality since the Brazilian joined the Gunners from rivals Chelsea earlier this month.

The 32-year-old agreed a three-year deal after his contract with the Blues expired.

His eye-watering wages of £220,000-a-week raised some eyebrows given his age but Arteta has already seen enough to believe he can justify them.
