After a slow start to the summer transfer window, Arsenal are now starting to find their feet.
After securing the signing of former Chelsea winger Willian earlier this month, the Gunners are now closing in on the signing of Lille centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes.
But once that deal is over the line and secured the Gunners are poised to switch their attentions to bolstering their central-midfield options.
The Gunners have been linked with an array of central-midfielders in recent months, including Thomas Partey of Atletico Madrid, Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho and Lyon’s Houssem Aouar.

Though Coutinho and Aouar would add flair and creativity to Mikel Arteta’s midfield options, Partey would add steel and strength.

The player has previously talked about his desire to play in the Premier League to put Arsenal on red alert.
