Arsenal fans say the same thing about Kieran Tierney as Chelsea sign £50m Ben Chilwell

Chelsea’s signing of Ben Chilwell from Leicester City has caught the eye of Arsenal fans.

The Blues confirmed the transfer this week, with the 23-year-old signing a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

The deal will see Chelsea pay an initial fee of £50 million to Leicester City for the player, with add ons to come depending on performance and achievements.

Chilwell played a total of 33 games in all competitions for the Foxes in the 2019/20 season, scoring three goals and providing four assists.

The signing comes one year after Arsenal signed their own left-back, Kieran Tierney, who arrived at the Emirates Stadium from Celtic.

The Scottish international had an injury-hit first season at the club but did still manage 24 games in all competitions for the Gunners.

The 23-year-old quickly became a fan favourite at Arsenal.
