Piers Morgan makes Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Arsenal demand after Lionel Messi news

Outspoken Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has urged the Gunners to secure the future of club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, suggesting Barcelona could look to sign him with Lionel Messi looking to leave the Nou Camp.

Aubameyang’s contract is due to expire next summer and he is yet to sign an extension with the Gunners, having previously been linked with a switch to Barcelona.

Taking to Twitter, Morgan wrote: “Given the bombshell Messi/Barca news, I suggest Arsenal get @Aubameyang7 locked down as a matter of extreme urgency. Like… now.”

Aubameyang has repeatedly teased staying at Arsenal and he is said to be closing in on a new three-year contract.
