Aubameyang has been doing much of the same but fans believe that they may have got ahead of the curve after spotting what they believe is a huge hint.

In a video posted on social media, it’s claimed Aubameyang can be seen at the Emirates Stadium wearing his trademark number 14 shirt – and the fact that he’s standing alone indicates it could be some sort of announcement.

However, with the recording taken from some distance, it’s not entirely clear and some fans have been speculating that it could be something else, or somebody else.

It remains to be seen whether this is another eagle-eyed observation, with Arsenal fans having history after lip-reading Henrikh Mkhitaryan in a video ahead of Aubameyang’s signing from Borussia Dortmund.

With that said, it would appear that Arsenal fans have jumped the gun.

It has since emerged that the filming could have been for a music video that is being shot inside the stadium.
