Arsenal are reportedly set to rival Manchester United for Lille youngster Boubakary Soumare this summer.
The Gunners are already going head-to-head with United for another Lille star in 22-year-old defender Gabriel Magalhaes, and it is believed they have come out on to in that transfer battle.
Magalhaes is poised to complete a £27million move to Mikel Arteta’s side, having snubbed offers from Everton and Napoli as well as United.
And according to Foot Mercato, Arsenal and United will now compete again in the summer transfer window for Soumare’s signature.
The 21-year-old midfielder, who made 30 appearances for Lille last season, has been heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford in recent months.
