With that in mind, here are the latest Arsenal transfer rumours.
Arsenal are moving forward in their attempts to sign Philippe Coutinho with talks at an “advanced stage”.
Diario Sport’s latest update reports the 28-year-old is in “advanced” talks with the Gunners about a loan move this summer.
Coutinho’s agent recently confirmed that it was his clients priority to return to the Premier League after a disastrous spell with Barcelona.
Willian’s Arsenal offer
Arsenal are closing in on signing Willian on a free transfer from Chelsea after offering a three-year deal, Sky Sports states.
The Gunners are favourites to land his service, although it’s stated that the terms are lesser than what is on the table from Barcelona and Inter Milan.
Chelsea offered a two-year deal to Willian but he is holding out for a longer deal, which is on offer elsewhere.
Magalhaes still an option
Arsenal are still keeping their eye on Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes.
According to France Bleu the Gunners are vying with Napoli for his signature, and could make a bid in the near future.
The defender has also been linked with Manchester United and Everton in recent months.
