Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has broken his silence after the Gunners’ FA Cup final triumph, ignoring the victory and instead posting pictures of his holiday.
The Frenchman has not made an Arsenal squad since a clash with Brighton striker Neal Maupay on June 20 where he grabbed his opponent by the throat.
Although Guendouzi escaped punishment from the FA, Mikel Arteta has not picked him since, leading to speculation that he will be sold this summer.
Following the 2-1 FA Cup final win over Chelsea, a number of players have taken to social media to celebrate but Guendouzi has not been one of them.
Matteo Gunedouzi’s first post after Arsenal won the FA Cup was a holiday snap
Arteta did pay tribute to Guendouzi and fellow outcast Mesut Ozil after the win, saying the pair were “a big part of it” despite not featuring in the latter stages of Arsenal’s run.
He said: “They’re all part of it. We don’t have here Matteo and Mesut but they’re a big part of it because they all contributed here.
“They all should be a big part of it. All of them contributed to this trophy.”

He is yet to congratulate his team-mates on the cup win
Although Ozil has congratulated his team-mates with a post on Instagram, Guendouzi has not.
Ozil posted a picture of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang lifting the trophy with the caption: “Great job my boys!!! #LondonIsRed #YaGunnersYa #FACupWinners”
Guendouzi has instead been posting holiday snaps, showing off his luxury villa with the caption: “Holidays.”
It comes after ex-Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp…
