FA Cup final day is here.
Arsenal and Chelsea will be heading to Wembley to battle to lift the famous trophy later this afternoon, although the final is being played in an unexpected situation.
The Coronavirus pandemic means that no fans will be permitted inside of the stadium for the final domestic game of the extended campaign.
Both London clubs return to Wembley after successful semi-finals, Arsenal beating current holders Manchester City 2-0, while Chelsea came out as 3-1 winners against in form Manchester United.
The Gunners and Blues both ended their Premier League season in a positive way too, with Mikel Arteta’s men recording a 3-2 win over Watford and Chelsea beating Wolves 2-0 in order to confirm their place in the Champions League next season.
A win over Chelsea for Arsenal would also grab them a place in the Europa League next season, which could serve as extra motivation for the Gunners.
The last game between the pair ended in a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, and it was a game in which former Blues’ defender David Luiz was shown red in the first-half.
Two late goals from Cesar Azpilicueta and Hector Bellerin ensured a dramatic ending to the game, with on lookers hoping for a game just as entertaining this afternoon.
