Player ratings vs Watford

Arsenal’s 2019/20 Premier League ended the same way it started – with victory as they overcame Watford 3-2 at home.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored either side of Kieran Tierney’s first-ever goal for the club, but it was not enough for the Gunners captain to catch Jamie Vardy in the Golden Boot race.

Meanwhile, the home side looked rather nervous at the back which could be a worrying sign ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea.

“Emi has earned his place with another brilliant performance again today. When the team needed him he made some fantastic saves.

“Bernd is still recovering from his injuries so Emi’s the one now.”

The extra incentive against the Hornets was to finish as high as possible after it was reported by Swiss Ramble that the impact of every position this year will be around £2.7 million.

As a result of finishing eighth in the Premier League table, it will provide Arteta with an extra £5.4 million to potentially spend on transfers.

Had they finished 10th, they would have earned around £13.3 million less.
