Arsenal star Dani Ceballos has sent a message to Real Madrid over his Arsenal future as his loan spell in north London nears an end.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed a promising spell at the Emirates, scoring two goals and making two assists in 34 appearances.

His latest came in the 2-0 FA Cup semi-final win over Manchester City, impressing Gunners fans with his ruthless performances.

It has seen speculation emerge about his future, with Ceballos set to make his return to Madrid this summer.

But Spanish outlet El Confidencial have reported the the midfielder is ready to plead with chiefs at the club to secure a transfer.

And the Gunners have already contacted the Bernabeu over Ceballos’ availability, looking for a deal over the next 12 months.

Madrid, though, will only consider letting the 23-year-old go if there is a permanent offer put on the table.

The report also states that club president Florentino Perez needs to sell before any big names can arrive due to impact of Covid-19.

He said: “The situation is very bad and there will be no great signings.

And manager Mikel Arteta hinted earlier this month that he wants to keep the midfielder in north London.

“Both clubs have been in communication. I really like Dani,” the Spaniard commented earlier this month.

“He wasn’t available when I joined because he had a difficult injury. He is understanding what we are trying to do really, really nicely.
