Matteo Guendouzi has reportedly not trained with the Arsenal first team since the defeat at Brighton more than two weeks ago.
The Frenchman was criticised for his part in a bust-up with Seagulls striker Neal Maupay after the game at the Amex on June 20, where he was seen grabbing his opponent by the throat.
Although he escaped punishment from the FA, it has been a different matter internally with Gunners boss Mikel Arteta less than happy.
Guendouzi has not featured at all in the four subsequent Gunners fixtures and according to The Athletic , has been training alone.
It is claimed that the 21-year-old was called to a meeting with Arteta and technical director Edu in the aftermath of the Brighton game but didn’t impress.

Guendouzi had also drawn Arteta’s ire during the mid-season trip to Dubai in February – but returned to the line-up after being given a second chance by his boss.
This time around though it seems that his behaviour has hit even more of a nerve and his immediate future at the Emirates could even now be put in some doubt.
While there is admiration for his talent among Arteta’s coaching staff, some at Arsenal feel he has already been afforded enough chances.

Gunners bosses are believed to have already considered using him in a swap deal in the forthcoming transfer window.
The club are due to meet with Guendouzi’s representatives in the coming days to discuss the situation.
Guendouzi encountered similar problems at previous club Lorient, where a dressing-room argument saw him excluded from the first team for more than three months.
