Arsenal have made a bid for Levante midfielder Enis Bardhi, but face competition from Serie A and the Bundesliga for the Macedonia international.
The 24 year old arrived at Levante from Hungarian side Ujpest in 2017 for just over £1m and has gone on to be a regular in the first team, racking up 88 La Liga appearances over the last three seasons, scoring 16 goals.
Such have been his performances for the Valencia-based team that Arsenal have been alerted to his talents and ‘lodged a bid’ for him, according to Valencian radio station Onda Deportivo.
They also report that Fiorentina are keen on signing Bardhi, while an unnamed German club is also interested.
The size of the bid is unknown, as is Levante’s response. The Spanish side would be loathed to lose one of their better players, but it is unlikely they will be hold onto him when the likes of Arsenal come calling.
He is under contract until 2022, with Levante having an option to extend the deal for another two years, so the club are in a strong position to ask for a huge amount more money than they paid for the Macedonian.
