With that in mind, here are the latest transfer rumours from Arsenal.
Dayot Upamecano wants to play in the Premier League, according to Spanish publication Sport.
They claim the RB Leipzig defender believes he’s better suited by Premier League football than other European leagues.
The latest from the Upamecano camp will be a blow for Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona, who believed to be actively trying to secure the centre-back’s signature this summer.
Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are believed to be interested in Upamecano, who has a £52.5million release clause in his contract.
City tipped to make Aubameyang move
Former Arsenal star Charlie Nicholas believes Manchester City could make a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer.
The forward has 20 goals in 32 games this season including 17 in the Premier League, despite his side struggling for form for large parts of the campaign.
But with the Gabon international’s deal set to expire in the summer of 2021, rumours have already started linking Aubameyang with a move away from the Emirates.
And while Nicholas doesn’t believe Aubameyang is seeking a move away, he does feel City could make a move for him.
“I do not think Aubameyang is seeking to leave,” the Scot told Sporting Life. “He is a superstar at Arsenal. He was only a star at Dortmund. If he is thinking about leaving, are Manchester United going to give you more opportunities as it stands? I do not think so.
“Would he get into Liverpool’s side? No. Manchester City could be an option so that he could replace Sergio Aguero, but the only alternatives are two giants of Spain, but I do not think he is that type.
“If it was City or the two giants, I would accept it, but the rest I cannot be convinced that he would be guaranteed game time.”

The move is believed to have been made in a bid to fend off bids from rival clubs, including Arsenal, who have been heavily linked with the midfielder.
According to the Guardian, Atletico’s new offer, however, would double Partey’s current salary of £65,000 a week and increase the…
