Wright slams Arsenal over ‘nightmare’ Suarez bid

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has criticised his former club over their infamous failed pursuit of Luis Suarez in 2013.

“It’s a nightmare to think about because there was a time when he could have gone to Arsenal” said Wright, speaking on the latest  Match of the Day: Top 10 podcast “but they made that ridiculous bid, a pound extra.”
