Football matches in England have now been postponed until at least April 30 as coronavirus continues to take hold of the UK’s sporting schedule.
It comes after the FA announced, this morning, that there would be an extension to the suspension amid the ongoing pandemic.
However, there is a little more clarity for Arsenal and fellow Premier League clubs – the 2019/2020 will be played to a conclusion before attentions turn elsewhere.
With the summer transfer window just around the corner, though, a lack of on-field action has not held up off-field rumours.

Here is the latest Arsenal gossip as head coach Mikel Arteta prepares to start putting his stamp on things at the Emirates Stadium.
Sevilla enter Kokcu race
According to Spanish media outlet La Razon, Gunners chief Arteta is preparing a £25million bid for Turkey starlet Orkun Kokcu.
After breaking into the Feyenoord line-up this season, the Under-21 international, who was born in the Netherlands, is attracting interest from across Europe.
Sevilla are thought to be keeping tabs on the 19-year-old, who has scored five goals in 26 league starts this season.
Despite that interest, though, Arsenal continue to lead the race for his signature as the Gunners turn their attentions to 2020/2021.
Auba and out? Man United enter race
Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer as Arsenal face up to the prospect of losing their star striker.
According to The Sun, the club’s Premier League rivals are set to go toe to toe with Spanish giants Barcelona in a bid to land the Gabon captain.
Of course, his contact at the Emirates Stadium expires next summer and Arsenal will be keen to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
Arteta remains keen to keep his star striker at the club, but reports suggest they feel it will be difficult if Arsenal don’t earn a place in Europe for next term.
Luiz poised to extend Arsenal stay
Brazilian defender David Luiz could remain at the Emirates Stadium next season as Arsenal get ready to trigger a one-year extension in his contract.
Having arrived at the club last summer, from London rivals Chelsea, the 32-year-old came in for criticism at the start of the campaign.
However, like several of his team-mates, Luiz’s form has improved since Arteta was appointed as head coach and – according to reports in The Sun – he will remain a key figure in the Arsenal squad.
Luiz has scored two goals in 25 Premier League appearances for the Gunners this season.
