Hint about Ozil’s future
Mohamed Elneny has discussed the potential of Mesut Ozil leaving Arsenal during the summer window.
Elneny is at Besiktas on loan from the Gunners at the moment and recently touched on Ozil’s future in an interview with beIN SPORTS Turkey, per Sport Witness.
The 27-year-old is confident that Ozil will leave London for Turkey sooner rather than later amid links with Fenerbahce.
Elneny said: “Mesut really loves Fenerbahce. He’s always speaking about the club and the fans. If you ask me, I think he could come to Fenerbahce. He’s always trying to annoy me by singing Fenerbahce chants.”
Inter want Aubameyang
Arsenal may want to keep Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but more transfer links have appeared ahead of the summer.
The star striker has been linked with Barcelona but now it’s Inter Milan who are said to be interested in the 30-year-old, who has scored 17 goals in 25 Premier League games this season.
What the Serie A side plan to do in their pursuit of Aubameyang largely depends on if Lautaro Martinez leaves for Barcelona this summer, according to reports.
Arsenal turned down former player
Arsenal turned down the chance to sign one of their former players in Ismael Bennacer last year.
The midfielder has enjoyed a promising campaign at AC Milan since making the switch from Empoli last summer.
The 22-year-old’s value has reportedly doubled to £30million this past season, with La Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that the Gunners rejected the chance to match AC Milan’s bid last summer when they are believed to have shown interest in the Algerian international.
