Newcastle supporters targeted Arsenal defender David Luiz with a cutting chant which mocked the Brazil international by claiming he was a ‘poor’ version of Fabricio Coloccini.
The former Magpies centre back is a legend on Tyneside, having made 275 appearances and scored seven goals for the club.
Instantly recognisable by his long curly hair, there is certainly a resemblance between the Argentine and Luiz, who has a similar ‘Sideshow Bob’ locks.
Luiz was once famously described by Manchester United legend Gary Neville as playing as though he was being controlled by a kid playing FIFA on a PlayStation.
And it seems Newcastle fans have a similarly low opinion of the former Chelsea and Paris St-Germain centre-back.
“Newcastle fans giving David Luiz ‘you’re just a s**t Coloccini’…some player,” tweeted a viewer.
“Newcastle fans singing “you’re just a s**t Coloccini” to David Luiz is top banter,” agreed another.
But not everyone agreed with the chant, with one perhaps missing the joke and pointing out that Luiz has much more to show for his career than Coloccini.

“Luiz is a rubbish Coloccini? Don’t like him, he’s a terrible defender but look at how much Luiz had won,” they tweeted.
“Those teams won with him In their teams. What did Coloccini ever win? #bbcfootball”
Arsenal struggled to break the visitors down in the opening 45 minutes but Mikel Arteta’s time sprung into life after the break.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang powered home a header from Nicolas Pepe’s cross before the Ivorian slammed home Bukayo Saka’s cross just three minutes later.
