Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will become a target for Inter Milan if they lose Lauturo Martinez in the summer.
The Italian side are ready to fight off potential suitors who are eyeing their Argentine frontman, who has scored 16 goals in all competitions.
Aubameyang’s future is already a source of speculation with the Gabon star yet to sign an extension at the Emirates and they may be forced to cash in if he refuses to commit to the Gunners.
Qualifying for Europe looks a tall order to Arsenal who have struggled this term as they languish in mid-table.
Aubameyang is already on Antonio Conte’s radar and he may move to bring the 30-year-old to the San Siro should Martinez be sold, reports Gazetta dello Sport.
Mikel Arteta has already considered offloading Arsenal’s leading scorer as he looks to stamp his authority on the squad, which will no doubt involve playing a different style of football.
Gunners chief Raul Sanllehi has maintained that no player will be allowed to run down their contracts in north London in pursuit of a cut-price move elsewhere.
Arsenal have fallen foul of that over the past decade with the likes of Robin van Persie and Samir Nasri forcing the club into selling them.

Aubameyang is reluctant to play another year without Champions League football having never graced Europe’s top table with Arsenal since joining in January 2018.
The former Borussia Dortmund man has regularly been the Gunners’ go to man and has scored 16 times in all competitions.
They also face the prospect of Alexandre Lacazette following Aubameyang out of the capital with the Frenchman’s contract due to expire in 2022.
He has not enjoyed as many opportunities as his forward partner, starting eight games less than Aubameyang already this season.
