It’s not often that Arsenal and Manchester United fans are on the same page.
But following comments made by talkSPORT host Adam Catterall about Dennis Bergkamp and Eric Cantona, it’s safe to say the feeling is mutual between both sets of supporters.
When discussing Roberto Firmino’s importance to Liverpool, Catterall claimed the Brazil international is better than the Gunners and United legends.

“Look at you right, you’ve seen the bus and you are throwing me right underneath it,” he said in response to Darren Bent who brought up the claim.
“Bergkamp was exceptional. Eric Cantona, I think I’ve been on the record in the past saying he’s one of the most important players that ever graced the Premier League.
“But their importance on their sides at their particular times at Arsenal and Manchester United respectively, Firmino is that for Liverpool.
“That’s how important he is.
“Liverpool fans will tell me Van Dijk is the most important player and you can probably go along with that but as an attacking force, just the way that he is so aware of where he is on the pitch and where he is and where his teammates are, and he can find them and he can score.
“He’s just unbelievable that lad.”
As expected, this has prompted a massive reaction from Arsenal and Man United fans.

The Firmino-Bergkamp debate is something which is yet to be settled.
Last month, the football.londonteam selected their combined Arsenal and Liverpool XI’s based on the fact that the Reds look set to emulate the Gunners feat of going an entire Premier League season unbeaten.
Some opted for the Brazilian over the Dutchman, while others managed to get both in to their respective XI’s.
