Manchester City will fight Arsenal to keep hold of Mikel Arteta with the Gunners on the hunt for a new manager.
The north London club have placed Arteta at the top of their wanted list to replace the sacked Unai Emery after being let down in their pursuit of other targets.
Brendan Rodgers and Patrick Vieira have committed themselves to Leicester City and Nice respectively, meaning Arteta is now top of the list.
