Brendan Rodgers is ‘best man’ for Arsenal job as Celtic exit looms over Leicester, says Chris Sutton

Chris Sutton believes Brendan Rodgers is the ‘best man’ for the vacant managerial role at Arsenal and thinks the manner in which he left Celtic will concern Leicester fans who are wanting to keep hold of him.

The former Liverpool manager has turned Leicester into genuine top-four contenders this season and they will climb back into second with a draw or better against relegation-threatened Watford.

Since Unai Emery was sacked by Arsenal, Rodgers has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates and he confirmed there’s a clause in his contract that can see him leave Leicester mid-season.
