Freddie Ljungberg has appeared to suggest Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will continue as Arsenal captain.
Aubameyang was handed the role as skipper by Unai Emery in the wake of Granit Xhaka’s foul-mouthed rant at supporters after being substituted against Crystal Palace last month.
Gunners legend Ljungberg was named as interim boss following the departure of Emery on Friday.
