Freddie Ljungberg has indicated he does not know how long his interim spell as Arsenal manager will last ahead of his first game.

The former midfielder was put in temporary charge of the first-team after Unai Emery’s sacking on Friday morning, having previously been assistant manager under the Spaniard.

While Arsenal are interested in a number of names as a possible replacement for Emery, there is an awareness it might be difficult to nab the likes of Nuno Espirito Santo and Brendan Rodgers in the middle of the season.
