Arsenal players have been reacting in numbers to the sacking of Unai Emery.
On Friday morning it was announced that the Spaniard had departed north London after 18 months in charge following weeks of speculation regarding his future.
The decision didn’t come as too much of a surprise as the pressure had been mounting on the former Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain boss after overseeing a winless run which stretches to seven games across all competitions.
The 2-1 defeat at home against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League on Thursday night was the final straw for Emery, with the Gunners confirming his departure in a statement less than 24 hours later.
