Unai Emery has spoken out for the first time after being sacked by Arsenal.
Less than 24 hours after overseeing a 2-1 home loss in the Europa League at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt, the Spaniard was dismissed from his role as Gunners head coach.
Yet the 48-year-old appears to be very understanding as to why the decision was made.
In a lengthy post via the club’s official website, Emery acknowledged recent results haven’t been good enough and sent a classy message to Gunners supporters.
