Unai Emery confirms Kieran Tierney is ready for Premier League debut against Sheffield United

Unai Emery has confirmed that Arsenal summer signing Kieran Tierney is finally ready to make his Premier League debut against Sheffield United.

Tierney, 22, underwent a double hernia operation in the summer and was in rehabilitation for the first six weeks of his stay in north London following a £25million move from boyhood club Celtic.

The Scotland left-back made his first start in Arsenal’s 5-0 victory over Nottingham Forest last month and impressed at the Emirates, managing 77 minutes of the Carabao Cup tie before being replaced by Hector Bellerin.
