Aaron Ramsey scores maiden Juventus goal on first start during Serie A clash against Hellas Verona

Aaron Ramsey wasted little time in settling in at Juventus after scoring on his first start for the club in their Serie A clash with Hellas Verona.

The former Arsenal midfielder equalised for the Bianconeri after 31 minutes, collecting a pass from Cristiano Ronaldo before drilling home a deflected effort.

Ramsey’s appearance is just his second for the club having made his debut midweek in the Champions League.

The Welshman came on for the final three minutes of Juve’s game at Atletico Madrid but was unable to prevent his side form conceding a last minute goal to draw 2-2 at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Ramsey’s goal also comes on his home debut for the club, and helped Juventus equalise after a stunning opening goal from Miguel Veloso.

The Verona midfielder gave his side a shock lead in the 20th minute seconds after they hit the post from a penalty and the crossbar from the resulting rebound.
