What Unai Emery has told Arsenal coaches about returning star Rob Holding

Rob Holding is on the verge of making his long-awaited Arsenal first team return after nine months out following a cruciate knee ligament injury.

The England Under-21 international benefited hugely from Unai Emery’s appointment as Arsene Wenger’s successor and quickly established himself as an integral part of the Spaniard’s first choice defence.

Holding was a virtual ever-present during the first three months of last season before he was injured following a heavy tackle by Marcus Rashford during Arsenal’s match against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
