Alex Iwobi has revealed why he joined Everton from Arsenal on Deadline Day, in his first official interview since leaving the Emirates Stadium.
The Nigeria international was a homegrown player in North London and rose through the youth ranks to become an established member of the first-team, making his bow under Arsene Wenger and being a regular in Unai Emery’s side since.
However, he sealed an exit from the Gunners on Deadline Day last Thursday, joining Everton in a deal reportedly worth up to £40m if bonuses in the agreement are met.
